Tasting Notes & Reviews
Bright, fresh and inviting, the bouquet shows grapefruit, apple, nectarine and lime zest characters, leading to a vibrant palate that is juicy and lively. The wine offers lovely fruit intensity and refreshing acidity, finishing long and mouth-watering. 4.5 Stars ~ Sam Kim, Wine Orbit Review
Fresh, youthful, high-energy sauvignon blanc with bright citrus, lime, green apple and oyster-shell flavours. A backbone of assertive acidity helps drive a lengthy palate and promotes a mouth-watering finish. A serious sauvignon. 93/100 Silver Ribbon & Top Ranked ~ Bob Campbell, The Real Review
Hand-harvested in the Moutere Hills by the St Pauli team and handled in tank. To protect the delicate flavours the grapes were hand-picked early in the morning and kept in a cold store overnight before pressing and destemming. Keeping the grapes cold helps retain important acidity and protects the delicate flavours, skins and pulp. This wine was filtered with fine earth 25/07/19 before being bottled in September.
